Course overview
Connected supply networks depend on information about demand, stock and transport conditions. This course examines how AI can support that information and the decisions based on it, including predictive planning and automation. Delegates consider conventional logistics approaches alongside systems that use machine learning, IoT and predictive analytics.
Forecasting leads into practical inventory work. Sessions examine how demand models can support stock decisions and reduce disruptions, then turn to route algorithms and traffic monitoring. Transport work includes autonomous systems and fleet management, with practical applications in last-mile delivery.
Warehouse exercises address sorting, picking and packing. Delegates examine robotics and the integration of AI with connected devices for inventory visibility, followed by supply chain security and fraud prevention. Risk analysis and scenario modelling connect the operational work with resilience, while blockchain applications address transparency across supply networks.
