Course overview
Without systematic governance, organisations remain trapped in reactive patching cycles. The course bridges technical vulnerability discovery and board-level risk oversight, preparing teams to construct defensible, auditable risk management architectures across enterprise environments.
The curriculum moves through every stage of the cyber risk cycle. Delegates inspect governance models, catalogue digital assets, and quantify potential losses using qualitative and quantitative scoring tools. Practical workshop exercises show how to prioritise defensive controls for critical systems.
Day five covers continuous monitoring. Therefore, delegates assess continuous monitoring architectures, stakeholder reporting formats and methods for tracking residual risk as corporate technology stacks expand.
Course objectives
By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
- Apply cyber risk management principles using established industry frameworks
- Identify and classify operational, technical and strategic technology risks
- Design and deploy targeted mitigation controls across corporate systems
- Establish continuous monitoring processes to track risk posture over time
